ABOUT THE PROJECT
Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters is a family-owned specialty coffee brand built on community, craftsmanship, and a belief that great things can come from humble beginnings. What started as roasting beans in a garage evolved into a growing retail and wholesale coffee brand. I partnered with Ragamuffin to develop a cohesive identity and packaging system that could support their expansion into retail while staying true to their story and values.

As the brand grew from local roots into retail and wholesale, its visual identity lacked consistency across packaging and touchpoints. The goal was to build a scalable brand system that balanced premium quality with an approachable, community-first identity. The visual direction focused on clean structure, warm tones, and thoughtful typography that reflected the craft behind the coffee. A flexible packaging system was developed to support multiple blends, formats, and future products while maintaining a cohesive and recognizable brand.
