ABOUT THE PROJECT

I worked with Nostalgic Skin Co., a men’s grooming brand focused on handmade soaps, beard care, and skincare, to completely reimagine their identity and packaging. They came to me wanting a look that felt elevated but still true to their hardworking, small-batch roots. I developed a bold new visual direction built on strong typography, rich textures, and a confident tone that speaks directly to their audience. The new packaging and identity bring a sense of polish without losing authenticity, giving the brand the presence it deserves both online and on the shelf.

DESIGNING BRANDS THAT MOVE

The brand’s original identity lacked energy and cohesion. While the products were high quality, the presentation felt generic and didn’t reflect the craftsmanship or bold personality behind the brand. Nostalgic Skin Co. needed to elevate their image without losing the handmade authenticity that made them stand out.

THE CHALLENGE

Bringing grit and craftsmanship together, helping a handmade brand feel premium while staying real.

THE STRATEGY

The goal was to create a bold, cohesive identity that balanced premium presentation with a hardworking, authentic feel. The visual direction leaned into strong typography, rich textures, and nature-inspired illustration. A flexible packaging system was developed to unify the lineup while allowing each scent to maintain its own identity.

THE RESULTS

The refreshed identity elevated the brand’s presence across both digital and retail environments. By aligning packaging and visual direction, the system helped reinforce product quality and create a more cohesive brand experience across the lineup. What made the project successful was translating the brand’s craftsmanship into a visual system that feels both authentic and elevated.
