Mi Pan Bakery

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Mi Pan Bakery is an artisan bakery rooted in community, craftsmanship, and a passion for handmade sourdough. What began as a home kitchen project quickly grew into a sought-after local brand with increasing demand and expansion into their first location opening in late 2026. I partnered with the brand to develop a cohesive identity and brand marks that could support its growth while staying true to its handcrafted origins. The updated look brings familiarity and pride to the brand, connecting generations through design that feels both comforting and current.

THE CHALLENGE
As the bakery grew from pop-ups and farmers markets into a more established business, it lacked a consistent visual identity across brand touchpoints. The challenge was to create a system that felt authentic and personal while scaling across products, merchandise, and future retail environments.

//
THE STRATEGY
The goal was to build a brand that reflected the handcrafted nature of the product while creating a cohesive system for growth. The visual direction leaned into a warm, artisanal aesthetic, combining minimal layouts with subtle texture and typography that emphasized quality and simplicity.

//
THE RESULTS
The identity helped establish a clear and cohesive brand presence as Mi Pan continued to grow. By aligning the brand touchpoints, the work supported the transition from local pop-ups to a more scalable business while maintaining the brand’s community-driven feel. What made the project successful was translating the founder’s story and craftsmanship into a brand that feels as thoughtful as the product itself.
